Marknote lets you create rich text notes and easily organise them into notebooks. You can personalise your notebooks by choosing an icon and accent color for each one, making it easy to distinguish between them and keep your notes at your fingertips. Your notes are saved as Markdown files in your Documents folder, making it easy to use your notes outside of Marknote as well as inside the app.

Marknote 1.1.0 is out! Marknote is the new WYSIWYG note-taking
 application from KDE. Despite the latest release being just a few days
 ago, we have been hard at work and added a few new features and, more
 importantly, fixed some bugs.
 
 
 Marknote now boasts broader Markdown support, and can now display
 images and task lists in the editor. And once you are done editing
 your notes, you can export them to various formats, including PDF,
 HTML and ODT.
 
 
 Marknote's interface now seamlessly integrates the colors assigned to
 your notebooks, enhancing its visual coherence and making it easier to
 distinguish one notebook from another. Additionally, your notebooks
 remember the last opened note, automatically reopening it upon selection.
 
 
 We've also introduced a convenient command bar similar to the one in
 Merkuro. This provides quick access to essential actions within
 Marknote. Currently it only creates a new notebook and note, but we
 plan to make more actions available in the future. Finally we have
 reworked all the dialogs in Markdown to use the newly introduced
 FormCardDialog from KirigamiAddons.

 Thanks to Carl, Marknote now not only supports bold and italic fonts,

Dolphin is KDE's file manager that lets you navigate and browse the contents of your hard drives, USB sticks, SD cards, and more. Creating, moving, or deleting files and folders is simple and fast.
      Dolphin contains plenty of productivity features that will save you time. The multiple tabs and split view features allow navigating multiple folders at the same time, and you can easily drag and drop files between views to move or copy them. Dolphin's right-click menu provides with many quick actions that let you compress, share, and duplicate files, among many other things. You can also add your own custom actions.
      Dolphin is very lightweight, but at the same time, you can adapt it to your specific needs. This means that you can carry out your file management exactly the way you want to. Dolphin supports three different view modes: a classic grid view of all the files, a more detailed view, and a tree view. You can also configure most of Dolphin's behavior.
      Dolphin can display files and folders from many Internet cloud services and other remote machines as if they were right there on your desktop.
      Dolphin also comes with an integrated terminal that allows you to run commands on the current folder. You can extend the capabilities of Dolphin even further with powerful plugins to adapt it to your workflow. You can use the git integration plugin to interact with git repositories, or the Nextcloud plugin to synchronize your files online, and much more.

      Gwenview is a fast and easy to use image viewer by KDE, ideal for browsing and displaying a collection of images.

KBruch is a small program to practice calculating with fractions and percentages. Different exercises are provided for this purpose and you can use the learning mode to practice with fractions. The program checks the user's input and gives feedback.

      exactly that as easy and pleasant as possible, and to simply get out of the
      way and let you read your comic books. One could say that it allows you to
      peruse your comic books at your leisure, but that would be a silly way of
      putting it - so, peruse your comic books at your leisure!
    
      
      One of the ways in which Peruse ensures your reading experience is as pleasant
      and effortless as possible is to allow you to simply pick up where you last left
      off. The welcome page in the application (first screenshot below) shows you your
      most recently read comics, and shows your progress through them. To pick up
      where you left off, simply tap the top left item and you will be taken right to
      the page you were reading before you had to stop.

Lokalize is the localization tool for KDE software and other free and open source software. It is also a general computer-aided translation system (CAT) with which you can translate OpenDocument files (*.odt). Translate-Toolkit is used internally to extract text for translation from .odt to .xliff files and to merge translation back into .odt file.

      KCachegrind is a profile data visualization tool, used to determine the most time consuming parts in the execution of a program.

        KCachegrind visualizes profiles (i.e. runtime characteristics) of applications in various ways,

KCachegrind

Kanagram is a game based on anagrams of words: the puzzle is solved when the letters of the scrambled word are put back in the correct order. There is no limit on either time taken, or the amount of attempts to solve the word. It features several included word lists, a hints-and-cheats help system, a word list editor, and allows for updating and distributing wordlists via KNewStuff. The interface is scalable and appropriate for children.

      Massif Visualizer is a tool that - who'd guess that - visualizes massif data.
      You run your application in Valgrind with --tool=massif and then open the generated
      massif.out.%pid in the visualizer. Gzip or Bzip2 compressed massif files can also be
      opened transparently.

      KCharSelect is a tool to select special characters from all installed fonts and copy them into the clipboard.
    
      
      You can browse characters by their category or quickly find a certain character by searching for its name.
    
      
      KCharSelect displays various information about the selected character. This includes not only the Unicode character name, but also aliases, general notes and cross references to similar characters. 
    
      
      For technical use, different representations of the character are shown. 
    
      
      KCharSelect also contains Unihan data for East Asian characters to display English definitions and different pronunciations.
