Name: Chess Clock

Chess Clock is a simple application to provide time control for over-the-board chess games. Intended for mobile use, players select the time control settings desired for their game, then the black player taps their clock to start white's timer. After each player's turn, they tap the clock to start their opponent's, until the game is finished or one of the clocks reaches zero.

A new release bringing adaptivity refinements and alert sounds.<ul><li>Thanks to Mariko Ueno, we now have alert sounds when a player's timer runs low. These can be muted if desired via the menu.</li><li>The window adapts better to portrait aspect ratios and large screen sizes, enabling improved tablet support.</li></ul>

A new beta release, with a few useful additions:<ul><li>New portrait mode, intended for a phone laid flat on a table next to the board</li><li>Increment is given at the &lt;em&gt;end&lt;/em&gt; of each player's turn, rather than the beginning</li><li>Screen blanking is inhibited when the timers are running</li></ul>
