The feature-packed, cross-platform game engine to create 2D and 3D games from a unified interface.       Limitations of the Flatpak version:
      
        C#/.NET external editor support does not work out-of-the-box, though this is currently being discussed and worked on. See: https://github.com/flathub/org.godotengine.GodotSharp/issues/2
        External script editors are still supported (for use outside of C#/.NET), but you need to follow the steps described here: https://github.com/flathub/org.godotengine.GodotSharp#using-an-external-script-editor
        After the first C# script is created, it is necessary to click Build within Godot. Alternatively, running dotnet restore in the IDE's terminal would work as well.

To (re)build a C# solution in the Godot editor, make sure that "Editor -&gt; Editor Settings --&gt; Mono --&gt; Builds --&gt; Build Tool" is set to "dotnet CLI", and not "MSBuild (Mono)", before (re)building the C# solution, otherwise Godot won't be able to find MSBuild. It should be set to "dotnet CLI" by default, but if it isn't, reset it by going to the editor settings as previously described.C#/.NET/Mono external editor support does not work out-of-the-box, though this is currently being discussed and worked on.
